Alexander Massage Method
Fredrich Alexander believed that many illnesses can be traced to the way we use our bodies. Unconsciously, we have picked up poor body habits early in childhood from those around us. Also, stressful, urban life contributes to misuse of the body. The Alexander Method consists of techniques for unlearning the old habits so that the natural body can take over.
The Alexander Technique is movement education that is taught individually or in a class. The student is given guidance on movement patterns, including sitting and standing, to improve posture and reduce physical stress on the body.
